For over four decades, we have proudly hosted the renowned Coombs Bluegrass Festival, a cherished tradition that has captivated audiences year after year. Among the festival’s highlights are the thrilling Bulls, Broncs & Barrels events hosted by the Vancouver Island Western Heritage Association (V.I.W.H.A), showcasing our participants’ incredible skill and bravery.
CHRCO is a non-profit organization run by dedicated volunteers who are committed to preserving our rich heritage. Our Board of Directors oversees a diverse range of well-known events, including the Coombs Country Opera, monthly dances featuring talented local Vancouver Island bands, and a delightful Flea Market and pancake Breakfast monthly.
The Coombs Rodeo Grounds is not only a venue for our own celebrated events but is also available for public rentals. Whether you are planning a wedding, anniversary, family gathering, reunion, celebration of life, live music performance, festival, theatrical production, or comedy event, our versatile facilities can accommodate your needs.
